About

Me
I’m Aayush Iyer — a 2x year old load on the city of Mumbai and since you don’t need a name when a letter can do, this is The Voice of A. It’s been on the Internet in some form or the other since 2003. It’s been named and renamed many times over as well — started off as “Analysis of Third Order Sequential Neural Networks” (don’t ask), grew into “Aayush’s Random Ramblings”, proceeded to be called “No Shoelaces” and finally the title that you see now. In many ways, it is the worst title yet, but I like it.

My interests, and hence the contents of this site has seen significant evolution over these years. I’ve stopped writing about my life (wasn’t the most exciting item on agenda in any case) Twitter works well though. Now, The Voice of A is an aggregator, and hopefully a good one. The Internet’s become a great one-way web thanks to RSS (at least in my case) and this site is populated with articles on design, programming, art, mathematics, good writing, photography, music, video and LOLCats.

Ultimately, I want the Voice of A to be self-seeding, so if you come across anything that interests you on the Internet, it will almost certainly interest me. In that case, do visit my lovely Contact page and drop me a line.

Yes, the pseudo-Vulcan to the right is me. It was illustrated when I was freelancing for SKOAR! magazine. I now work with zapak.com, a large game portal that’s hoping to grow larger.

Random Facts You Probably Wouldn’t Know (Beta)

  • If you’re willing to relocate me to Himachal permanently, I will love you very much
  • If you’re willing to relocate me to Europe, I will love you very much
  • I like Alfa Romeos

About The Voice of A
Originally hosted on Blogger, the site has since moved to a self-hosted version of Wordpress which, mildly put, kicks ass. Since that time (about two years ago), I’ve been pushing to design my own theme. This is the result (and it’s still not quite done). I know that Black isn’t the most original colour, but it works. One of these days, the theme will be complete and I’ll use this space to talk about it. It’s now white, and still not done!
